The Little Red Hen is an old folk tale, most likely of Russian origin, she finds some grains of wheat, she asks for help from the other farm animals to make the grains of wheat into bread, at every stage they refuse until she asks if they what to help her eat the bread. she states,”if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
